Got Your Back Sista is running 6 week self defence program to help women to feel both mentally and physically stronger. This is a great opportunity for women to:
- have fun in a group setting with other women
- learn tips and techniques to feel empowered and safe
- learn about personal space and boundaries and what to do if you feel threatened
- learn how to physically defend yourself and
- improve your self-esteem and confidence.
ABOUT SELF DEFENCE
Self defence for women has many benefits, both mentally and physically. We have a qualified Taekwondo and Self-Defence Instructor, Carly Reasbeck, who will deliver the 6 week program. The course will teach you how to protect yourself and what to do if you are threatened, grabbed or assaulted, or your personal space is encroached. Each week you will learn a different tip and tool.
This is a six (6) week course, has two sessions that run: nominate Tuesday 10.00am -11.30am or Wednesday at 5:30pm to 7pm.
Students are asked to bring a water bottle and towel along.
There is a heavily reduced price for those with a referral from a service provider, please contact us for more information on this.
There is also discounted pricing for family members who join together.

Please note: this program is run upstairs at our building. Participants must be able to access this room via a staircase and must be over the age of 12 years old.
