CatholicCare is an official social service agency of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. Warlga Ngurra Women and Children’s Refuge
Aims to addressing the urgent needs of women and children facing homelessness and experiencing family and domestic violence. Services are available for resident living in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens areas as well as remote NSW community and interstate.

Yacabba Nelson Bay
The Yaccaba centre provides a range of early interventions supporting within a counselling approach to assist vulnerable people who are at imminent risk of homelessness, are homeless or who are in crisis. Provides individual counselling for both males and females recovering from trauma, violence or abuse.
