Samaritians Emergency Relief
The emergency relief service provides assistance to people in financial hardship by providing short term emergency, financial or material assistance. Samartians can help with food vouchers, food parcels, EAPA vouchers (electricity and gas), chemist assistance, clothing and financial options support.

Salvation Army Moneycare Newcastle
The Salvation Army’s Moneycare is a free and confidential financial counselling service for people facing financial difficulties. Staff are able to help with budgeting, credit, debt and repossession. Phone your local centre for an appointment.

Provides a free financial counselling services to the Upper and Lower Hunter regions to assist people experiencing financial difficulty. Assist clients with referrals, exploring options to manage debt and developing budget skills.
Centerlink Crisis Payment
