Warlga Ngurra Women and Children’s Refuge
Aims to addressing the urgent needs of women and children facing homelessness and experiencing family and domestic violence. Services are available for resident living in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens areas as well as remote NSW community and interstate.
Aboriginal Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service (ATAAS)
ATAAS provides information, advice, advocacy and representation services for Aboriginal tenants in NSW. If a dispute or issues arises in connection with an individuals tenancy, ATAAS can ensure that it is dealt with fairly, in accordance with the individuals legal rights and responsibilities.
Wesley Mission
Welsey Mission helps children, families and the elderly who struggling with homelessness, addiction, mental health, financial or domestic challenges.
Singleton Family Support
Singleton Family Support helps to family and individuals in relationships struggles, parenting concerns, problems with housing, family safety and personal wellbeing. Their range of programs, services, groups and experinces are aimed to increase understanding, strengthen self worth and build resilience that enables empowerment.
Hunter Tenancy Advice Service
The Tenants’ Union of NSW provides high quality legal advice, assistance, and information to tenants, land lease community residents, Tenant Advocates, and community workers.
Warlga Ngurra Women and Children’s Refuge
Warlga Ngurra Women and Children’s Refuge is a Specialist Homelessness Service offering emergency accommodation and support for women , with or without children, who are homeless due to domestic violence. We also offer court support, children’s activities, outreach support, advocacy, housing support, child support and referrals.

Home in Place is one of Australia’s largest non-government social housing providers with over 35 years’ experience in providing secure and affordable housing, as well as delivering housing products for disadvantaged people who have difficulties sourcing adequate housing.
